Enrolment discussions with both parents and the enrolling child are an important first step in beginning our relationship with your family.
All families are asked to attend an enrolment discussion with their child. Discussions for Year 7 applicants are conducted with a member of our Leadership Team; these discussions take place in July.
If you are enrolling throughout the year then an appointment will be made for you to meet our Principal.
The next step in the enrolment process, once we have held the enrolment discussion, is the Offer of Placement. For Year 7 families this Offer is sent in August. To accept the Offer of Placement families are asked to complete the Offer of Placement form and pay an enrolment deposit of $150.
Families enrolling during the year are generally advised at the enrolment discussion if we are able to offer a placement.
In late October families will be emailed their welcome information. This information with confirm your child’s House placement and the Language they will study in Years 7 and 8.
Families enrolling during the year will be emailed their welcome information shortly after their enrolment discussion, once House and classes have been allocated.
Year 7 Orientation Day takes place late November/early December. Details are included in the welcome information. Families are also invited to our Charism and Coffee Welcome Morning (first day of Year 7).
The Year 7 Parent Information Evening is held in the second week of school. This is when the Year 7 students are provided with their laptops and you are able to meet with your child’s pastoral and Core teachers.
Students commencing during the year are welcomed at Student Reception. On your child’s first day they will meet with our ICT Coordinator who will conduct an IT Induction for the laptop. New students will also be issued a photo ID.
